Nigel Waite – is a consultant who specialises in corporate behaviour, marketing strategy and its implementation. He also has particular expertise as a researcher and commentator on areas concerning trust, fairness and value in the context of financial services. Nigel is the co-author of Financial Services Marketing: An International Guide to Principles and Practice. The second edition of this world-wide best seller was recently published.
Nigel spent over 20 years in commercial practice in marketing, sales and general management, including Marketing Director roles at Lloyds Banking Group and Barclays in which he was responsible for life assurance, pension, savings and investment products. In terms of General Management he has run businesses marketing unsecured loans, finance broker second mortgages and first mortgages.
He was the founder and, for 12 years, Director and of the Financial Services Research Forum and is Honorary Professor of Marketing at the University of Nottingham.
